Recently refurbished with a new kitchen, acoustic panels, and accessible toilets — St Mark's Hall is an excellent and in-demand venue in Olivers Battery, Winchester.
St Mark's Hall has recently been fully refurbished with a new hall, professional kitchen, and accessible toilets — and we've recently added acoustic panels to the ceiling to improve the sound quality throughout.
It's now an excellent and in-demand venue for all kinds of community events — from yoga classes and film screenings to family parties and workshops. We're equipped with tables and chairs, AV equipment, projector and screen — and happy to discuss your specific requirements.
This refurbishment was made possible through generous giving from our congregation, grants, and gifts from the wider community — reflecting our vision for how this building serves Olivers Battery and beyond.

St Mark's Hall is well-equipped for a wide range of events. The main hall and accessible toilets are included in all bookings. Use of the catering kitchen and AV equipment are available as additional options — please mention when enquiring.
Main hall
A spacious main hall with capacity for up to 80 people. Features acoustic ceiling panels for improved sound quality, and a moveable partition that divides the space into two separate areas.
A fully-equipped professional kitchen capable of catering for up to 40 people. Includes commercial oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator, water heater, plates, mugs, glasses, and cutlery.
Full AV setup including projector, screen, and desk for presentations, film screenings, and events requiring audio visual support.

Checking availability and making a booking
Bookings are managed by our Hall Booking Secretary. To check availability and make a booking, simply send an email with your preferred dates and times.
